Adjective, Letter about their city and simple past,
dictation
|
Two encounters reports
They liked a lot the activities, the group interact with each other,
they expressed how they are with positive adjectives, and also they did the
activity with their cities, inviting the classmates to their cities. At the end
I made a dictation in order to practice listening and writing.
The previous class I left them a task about their cities and write a
letter inviting their classmates to their cities, it went well.
How successful were activities and materials
They felt motivated about the activity and all
participants were really responsible and use their document to read it and talk
about their cities, also the links about the adjectives were really useful for
they describe their feelings, then I make a dictation that was successful.
What departures did you make from the original lesson plan?
I used every material that I prepared, maybe the time no was exact.
What difficulties did learners experience in
different stages of the lesson?
The main difficulty was at the end with the
dictation and with the connection.
What aspects of the lesson did you feel were particularly successful?
Everything
was successful, because they were motivated.
What
aspects of the lesson did not work particularly well? Why?
When I asked something the students delayed so
long in answering my questions.
What aspects of the lesson should be done
differently next time?
Maybe I need to be more dynamic and develop
games for the next time.

Prepositions and pronouns
|
|
This lesson went really well, because of the
materials, the flash cards about prepositions, each one has to explain with
their own words each topic and after I add many other things and ask them
questions supported in the PowerPoint presentation and the video.
They were divided in two groups in order to explain each group one
topic, they felt comfortable with this kind of exercise and is a good idea
because it make them to search and analyze information in groups and each other
help the classmate. Here I took at least 20 minutes in order to my students
prepare a presentation. They were working by skype producing their task.
How successful were activities and materials
It was successful because I supported my class
on it, and the students were motivated with the explanation of each one and my
activities.
What departures did you make from the original lesson plan?
The departures were not exact but I developed all the proposed
activities, the time was not exact because there were problems with the student
connection and the majority delayed so long to enter to the encounter.
What difficulties did learners experience in different stages of the
lesson?
The connection is the main difficulty and when the students delay so
long to enter, it made difficult the performance of the class.
What aspects of the lesson did you feel were particularly successful?
When I asked them with a video the prepositions and when I show them the
flash cards in my screen and they read it and solved the questions.
What
aspects of the lesson did not work particularly well? Why?
Maybe the explanation that each one had to do in the encounter because
only one did it.
What aspects of the lesson should be done
differently next time?
Maybe tell to the students that the must be
responsible or make a strategy that it don’t make difficult the development of
the class.
